　　June 11, 2007, Intel announced that starting from June 20th, its will ship boxed desktop sold in China with gradually adapt to using Intel’s Chinese logo on its packaging. This is Intel’s first time since the creation of the company to adapt its packaging to the country of sales.

Otellini honored the recipients of the Teaching and Application Award winners of the 2007 Intel Teach Program National Implementation Contest in a ceremony in Beijing. It is estimated that one million teachers had completed the teaching program and that at least 100 million students have been benefited from the Program.

　　Nov. 11, 2007, Intel Corporation unveiled sixteen eco-friendly, faster and 'cooler’ chips, incorporating 45nm hafnium-based high-k metal gate transistor. In addition to increasing computer performance and saving energy use, these processors can also eliminate environmental hazards, such as the usage of lead.

　　April 2, 2008 Intel Corporation introduced five new Intel Atom? processors and Intel Centrino Atom? processor technology for Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) and embedded computing solutions on Intel Developer Forum (IDF).

　　2008年4月8日,英特尔公司的全球投资机构,英特尔投资宣布成立“英特尔投资 - 中国技术基金 II”。新基金总额为五亿美元,致力于推动中国本土的技术创新并促进中国信息技术产业的发展。由此,英特尔投资在中国的技术基金总额已达7亿美元。

　　April 8, 2008, Intel Capital announced its second China investment fund, the Intel Capital China Technology Fund II. The new US$500 million fund will be used for Intel Capital investments that complement Intel's corporate initiatives and help expand the technology market segments in China. Therefore, the total amount of Intel Capital’s investment fund in China has reached US$700 million.

　　October 28, 2008, during Intel President and CEO Paul Otellini’s visit to China, Intel Capital announced a $20 million investment in Shenzhen-based Trony Solar, China’s leading solar energy and solution provider, for the development of green technologies. In addition, Intel is also investing US$150 million in 67 projects that support the advancement of China’s IT ecosystem and home-grown innovation.
