    青岛儿童福利院向亨氏公司颁发捐赠书

    人民网青岛7月28日电　今天，顶着炎炎烈日亨氏中国公司向青岛儿童福利院的孩子们捐献了700多箱、价值12万元的亨氏婴幼儿营养面条,体现了亨氏集团回报社会，关怀弱势群体健康的高度社会责任感。著名营养专家、世界粮农组织顾问何志谦教授，青岛儿童福利院张院长、亨氏中国区董事总经理李志刚先生、亨氏中国区公司事务副总裁王立志女士出席了本次捐赠仪式。

    据悉，亨氏公司进入中国25年来一直坚持投身各种爱心公益活动，包括参加卫生部等政府组织的扶贫捐赠活动、阜阳捐赠活动、‘爱心照亮回家路’资助在北京就读的贫寒大学生回家过年等等；2008年向四川地震灾区及医疗队捐款、捐物多达三百余万元。目前，正在进行由美国亨氏总部捐资100万美元与卫生部合作的‘支持中国西部贫困地区儿童营养改善的项目’，牵手国内福利机构关爱特殊群体，这是公司自成立以来未曾间断的慈善项目，这一善举已经被众多企业所效仿，其意义已经远远超越慈善项目。

    青岛儿童福利院的领导对亨氏公司的善举和爱心表示高度赞赏和衷心感谢，并代表孩子们向亨氏公司领导颁发了捐赠赠书。（宋学春 乔丕亮）

    Heinz China donated a total of over 700 cartons heinz baby nutrient noodles equivalents to RMB1,200,000 to the Qingdao Children Welfare Institute on July 28, 2009. Heinz devotes itself to requiting society; it highly embodies the concern of Heinz of vulnerable groups.

    Prof He Zhi Qian, the consultant of FAO, notable Nutrition professor in China; Mr.Zhang the head of Qingdao Children Welfare Institute, Mr. CK Lee, managing director of Heinz China, Ms. Alice Wang, Vice-President of Corporate Affairs, Heinz China, participated in the Donation Ceremony.

    Heinz has been continued participating in a variety of charity functions in 25 years time since the company was established in 1984 in China, including providing the financial aid to those poor university students to way back home for the Luna new year, charity donations organized by government, a total of 3 million Yuan donation to the earthquake-hit area for reconstruction and the ongoing micronutrient program cost over USD $1 million which is cosponsored by the Ministry of health, PRC.

    Making efforts and involving in all kinds of charity activities to support the vulnerable groups continually has never been stopped in Heinz, and also make contribution to the future development and wellbeing of children in China. It is believed that the significance of these charities is far beyond the program itself due to the great influences to other enterprises.

    Heinz receives the heartfelt thanks and is awarded a certificate of contribution from the Qingdao Children Welfare Institute on behalf of those benefited orphans.
